Our UK China Healthy Ageing Accelerator

Through the UK-China Healthy Ageing accelerator, NICA provided businesses with expertise that money can’t buy – a 9-week programme with a special focus on understanding what’s needed to access China’s markets for healthy ageing. Delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice, with support from Innovate UKs Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), the programme comprised:

• Action-packed induction week at NICA’s headquarters in Newcastle, with expert-led sessions on healthy longevity, export readiness, business growth and working in China
• Regular masterclasses with experts on topics including business modelling, marketing and co-design
• Equivalent of 3 days’ of 1:1 mentoring
• Access to a KTN ‘Entrepreneur in Residence’

Incredible networking opportunities with businesses and key industry connectors

Several of the businesses are already finalising their plans to enter China’s markets.
