Stage 1 is open to any UK-registered company working in healthy ageing, longevity or the silver economy. Through a series of online sessions you’ll:
- Learn about the Guangdong market and the opportunities it offers.
- Hear from experts working across the healthy ageing sector.
- Complete a China Readiness Assessment.
- Receive a Guangdong Market Intelligence Report.
- Join the UK-China Healthy Ageing Network.
- Be invited to meet the Guangdong delegation when they visit the UK later in the year.
- Be the first to hear about future opportunities.
If, after Stage 1, you decide Guangdong is the right opportunity for your business, you can apply for Stage 2.
Stage 2: Build Relationships in Guangdong, China
Up to six companies will be selected to take part in a business visit to Guangdong.
Designed for businesses with products or services already available in the UK or another market, Stage 2 helps you begin building commercial relationships in China. The visit includes:
- Return flights and accommodation.
- Pre-arranged meetings with potential partners, customers and investors.
- Guidance on intellectual property and regulatory considerations.
- Attendance at the GDSIA Healthy Ageing Conference.
- Ongoing support from the NICA team.
